The hashtag #costabrava has more than 2 million posts on Instagram. And it’s not surprising since the Costa Brava always seems to give us the best photo: bucolic landscapes, dream beaches, medieval architecture, unique gastronomy…
Today we have prepared a ranking with some of the places that you can’t miss in your Instagram.
Platja Gran (Tossa de Mar).
Platja Gran is 400 meters long and is the most photographed beach in Tossa de Mar.
It has incredible views of the Cape of Tossa and the walled enclosure of the Vila Vella which was declared a National Historic Artistic Monument. Its waters are crystal clear and its sand is coarse-grained pinkish color.
Given its beauty and its curious crescent shape, we are not surprised that in 2013 National Geographic magazine listed it as one of the 25 most beautiful beaches in the world.

S’Agaró viewpoint (S’Agaró).
The coastal path of S’Agaró is perfect for strolling and enjoying the spectacular views. At one point along the route you will come across an original gazebo. You will have reached one of the essential and ideal stops to take a selfie: the Mirador de S’Agaró.
It is formed by six columns and is located next to a small square, the Plaza del Mirador, which is next to the sea.
If you just got married you should know that this is one of the most romantic corners of the Costa Brava where the newlyweds take the opportunity to be photographed.

Cala de l’Illa Roja (Begur).
Located under a cliff, is one of the most beautiful coves of the Costa Brava: Cala de l’Illa Roja.
Access it through the coastal path from Cala Sa Riera. Once there you will be able to contemplate an impressive landscape bathed by crystalline waters.
Its semicircular shape and the high cliff walls that surround it make this a truly welcoming place full of details to capture with our cameras.
The point of mysticism is provided by the huge reddish stone that lies on the shore and gives its name to the cove.
We love it because it is almost like a natural sanctuary, very quiet and close to Begur, one of the most picturesque villages of the Costa Brava.

Templet de Linné (Blanes).
We are sure that the Marimurtra Botanical Garden will leave you with your mouth open as it is one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean.
Within these gardens there is a place that is a must for any instagramer and where you will not be able to stop taking pictures. We are talking about the Templet de Linné, a classically inspired construction formed by columns and a dome that bring back memories of the Greek Islands.
It is located on a cliff and from here you will appreciate one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the coast.

Cala dels Frares (Lloret de Mar).
Along the coastal path that starts at Platja Gran de Lloret we arrive at Cala dels Frares.
It is a small cove located just behind the Castle d’en Plaja and belongs to the town of Lloret de Mar.
Get ready to be amazed by this beautiful natural area. Its seabed is unique, it stands out for the rocky groups that emerge from the water as if they were islets.
Year after year Cala dels Frares welcomes photography lovers who come to immortalize its most amazing corners. Will you be one of them?

Far de Sant Sebastià (Palafrugell).
This lighthouse, whose history dates back to the 19th century and which stands on a tiny cape surrounded by cliffs, is part of the Monumental Complex of Sant Sebastià de la Guarda.
It is one of the most powerful lighthouses of the Catalan coast and the highest point of Palafrugell. Exactly it is located 169 meters above sea level.
We encourage you to go and see it, you will enjoy both the coast and the mountain of Sant Sebastià.

The Costa Brava has all the ingredients for your photos to triumph on Instagram. Do you have your phone ready?
