In a few days Calella will hold one of the biggest sporting events of the season: the Challenge Barcelona-Maresme. This activity will take place on October 6, 2013.

The starting point is Calella and the best option to stay is a hotel in Calella, of course, in GHT Hotels. You have two options to stay in: Hotel Balmes and Hotel Maritim, both with the lower prices ever!

Athletes who participate will swim 3.800 meters, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running. Quite a challenge for humans!!

This year we will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Challenge Barcelona-Maresme and a big celebration will be organized on the beach of Calella, just off the exit. We recommend to arrive  latest on Friday to Calella to attend the Pasta Party and the live concert that will be hold there.
