S’Agar\u00f3 is part of the municipality of Castell-Platja d’Aro and is located an hour and a half drive from Barcelona. It is very close to Sant Feliu de Gu\u00edxols and Platja d’Aro. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

S’Agar\u00f3 and its picturesque urban center arose from the idea of building a noucentista-style summer resort. It was conceived as a garden city by the architect Rafael Mas\u00f3, who was commissioned to carry out the work. A whole series of chalets were built, creating spaces that were totally integrated into the vegetation, almost merging the architecture with the landscape. We could define them as a set perfectly designed to be admired. <\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, this residential area has been declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest and is one of the main points that attracts tourists. In addition, it has long been chosen by businessmen, politicians, aristocrats and celebrities as an enclave in which to spend the summer season. <\/span><\/p>\n

In S’Agar\u00f3 there is a coastal path considered one of the most beautiful of the coast. We are referring to the one that perfectly connects the beach of Sant Pol, in Sant Feliu de Gu\u00edxols, with the cove of Sa Conca, in S’Agar\u00f3. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is four kilometers long (round trip) and can be covered in about thirty minutes. Throughout the journey, you will not stop marveling at the scenery. You can observe different species of Mediterranean flora, as well as the beauty and grandeur of the sea crashing against the rocks. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is a very easy section to do and suitable for the whole family. The ground is regular and quite wide, so it is not necessary to wear a specific footwear. <\/span><\/p>\n

Along the way you will pass, for example, the beach of Cala Pedrosa, Cala del Barco and a gazebo with eight columns called the Esculls de la Font viewpoint. Beach of Sant Pol de S’Agar\u00f3<\/b>. <\/span>This beach, which has a Blue Flag, is almost nine hundred meters long and twenty-five meters wide. It is an urban beach of fine golden sand. Its level of occupation is usually high and has adapted access for people with physical disabilities. <\/p>\n

Sa Caleta de S’Agar\u00f3. <\/b>Sa Caleta is a small cove of fifteen meters long by five meters wide and dominated by rocks.
