“Al pot petit hi ha la bona confitura” (in the small jar, there is good jam). This Catalan saying, meaning that valuable things don’t have to be big, perfectly describes one of the most unique coves on the Costa Brava.
Welcome to Cala Bramant, a place as tiny as it is spectacular. Keep reading to discover this hidden gem in Llançà.
Location and Access
Cala Bramant is located two kilometres north of Llançà and just a few minutes’ walk from Cala Cap de Ras.
Access is not the easiest, as you need to climb down a fairly steep wall. For this reason, we recommend descending carefully and wearing good footwear. You can also reach the cove by boat or kayak through an opening that connects it to the sea.
Once at the cove, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Llançà, Port de la Selva, and Cap de Creus.

What the Cove is Like
Its landscape is rather rocky. It doesn’t have the typical look of a pine-fringed cove that is so common on the Costa Brava.
From above, the views are magnificent, even awe-inspiring. This natural pool or bathtub stands out for its bottle-neck shape, which makes it truly unique.
Once you’re down there, it feels like a tiny paradise surrounded by cliffs over ten metres high. It’s a fantastic place to explore the underwater world by diving or snorkelling.

A Couple of Fun Facts
One interesting fact about this spot is that, thanks to its beauty, it was declared a “picturesque landscape” in 1972.
Another fun fact that you may not know is that Cala Bramant is also called “Cala dels Enamorats” (the Cove of Lovers). Its intimate setting makes it an ideal place for couples to watch an unforgettable sunrise.

Without a doubt, this cove is perfect for relaxing with your favourite person. So, if you’re planning to visit, we recommend arriving early to secure a good spot. Waking up early will definitely be worth it!
