From 1 to 29 April will be held in Calella the VII Festimatge, the Festival of the Image of Calella, organized by Foto-Film Calella. The city becomes the capital of the image during the month of April, thanks a deployment of all types of activities related to photography and video that take place in all corners of the city of the Costa del Maresme: windows of shops, restaurants, hotels, associations, museums, libraries and galleries.
The Festimatge includes three events, some almost 40 years old. Two exhibitions highlight the Multipurpose Room of the Old Town Hall «Let us stop being invisible» by Vincent Thomas and «Paths of Monsún» by Gabriel Bravo.
A highlight also, in the exhibition hall of the Fabrica Llobet, an area of 1000m2 which includes twenty exhibitions with over 800 photos. The organizers, however, emphasize that throughout the month promoted 40 exhibitions, 70 films will be issued and will be held film and photography courses, lectures on new technologies, a sample of popular photography, cinema demonstration and other activities for all ages.
